THE COMPLETE CARRYREADY TOOLKIT
More than what you carry.
How it all works together.
Remember the holster that felt better on a long drive, the ammo used on a range trip, or the last time you checked your gear. Start anywhere. The records stay connected.
01Vault
Your gear.
Its whole history.
Give every item a home. Organize firearms, holsters, ammunition, belts and everyday essentials, then connect the records that belong to each one.
Firearms
Keep range trips, logged rounds, observed failures and completed care connected to the firearm you used.
Ammunition
Save load details and link ammo to a range line, so a failure keeps the firearm and ammunition context together.
Holsters & other gear
Reuse items across setups, record item-specific carry feedback and create care schedules for any Vault item.
The Vault is an equipment list saved with your journal. No serial numbers are required.
02Range Day
One range trip.
Every combination.
Remember more than a round count. Log the trip, record each firearm and ammo combination, and keep the results with the equipment you actually used.
Record the session
Save the date, optional range name and notes. Add a separate line whenever the firearm or ammunition changes.
Follow the rounds
Rounds fired accumulate against each firearm. A known starting count adds context to its total; editing a trip updates linked counts.
Keep the result clear
Choose No failures, Failures occurred or Not recorded for each line. An unanswered field never means the trip was reviewed.
03Failures
The issue matters.
So does the context.
Keep an observed range event attached to its firearm, ammunition and trip. Build a history you can review without relying on memory.
Record what you observed
Keep the failure type, event count, magazine identifier and notes. A suspected cause remains an unconfirmed observation.
Find the relevant records
Filter by firearm, ammunition, dates, failure type and follow-up status to revisit a particular combination.
Keep following up
Track Open, Monitoring and Resolved status with your own notes about what happened next.
Range failures link to firearms and ammo. Holster pressure, shifting and other carry issues belong in the affected item’s check-in feedback.
04Maintenance
Know what’s due.
Remember what’s done.
A firearm, a holster and a flashlight need different care records. Give each item its own schedule and keep completed work alongside it.
Schedules for each item
Use day intervals for any Vault item. Firearms can also use logged-round intervals or reminders after recorded use.
History you can revisit
Log the completion date, work performed and notes. Each schedule keeps its own history and resets when care is recorded.
Connected to range use
Logged trips feed firearm round counts. Your holster can have a separate condition-check schedule with its own dates.
Care reminders appear inside the app. Edit suggested schedules to follow the manufacturer’s guidance for your equipment.
05Today
Start with your setup.
Finish with a reflection.
A simple daily home for what you carried and how it felt. Choose your gear in the morning and leave yourself a useful record at the end of the day.
Make today’s gear accurate
Select a saved setup, repeat yesterday’s actual items, or make a one-day change without rewriting your usual combination.
Keep your place
See whether setup selection and reflection are complete. Reopen the saved entry whenever you need it.
Have tomorrow ready
Plan from today’s gear or another setup, then confirm the combination when the next carry day begins.
06My setups
Your usual combinations.
Ready for real life.
Workdays, weekends and different routines call for different combinations. Save them once so you can spend less time entering the same details.
Build from the gear you own
Bring in Vault or saved items and reuse the same holster, belt or other essential across several setups.
Keep the carry details
Record position, carry method, notes and a photo. Daily entries preserve the items recorded when you save them.
Keep a useful change
When a one-day combination works for you, save it as a new setup for another day.
07Check-in
How did it feel?
Keep the useful details.
Confirm your setup and rate the day. Add as much context as you want, from comfort in the car to a holster that shifted or a light you wished you had.
Overall experience & comfort
Save an overall rating and optional comfort score with the exact gear and carry details for that day.
Feedback for the right item
Record what worked, what didn’t, clothing, activities and item-specific observations so a problem stays with the relevant gear.
Notes, photos & next time
Add a daily reflection, setup photo or missing-item reminder. A useful note can meet you the next time you use that setup.
08Calendar
See the month.
Pick up where you left off.
See your carry days in one place. Completed, started, unfinished, planned and no-carry days each have a clear state.
Return to a date
Reopen a day to finish or update its check-in and the details already recorded with it.
A routine that fits yours
Review weekly completion and your streak. A day you never started is separate from an unfinished check-in.
09History
The days add up.
The details stay with them.
A personal journal of what worked, what didn’t and what to try next. Look back on an ordinary day without trying to reconstruct it weeks later.
Revisit the full entry
Keep ratings, comfort, gear, carry details, clothing, activities, item feedback, notes and photos together.
Find a familiar setup
Filter by setup and focus on your own entries. Jump to the calendar to review completed and unfinished days.
10Compare
See what changed.
Learn from your own days.
Look beyond a setup’s name. Compare combinations and their recorded experience, with the context that helps explain why two days felt different.
Compare similar experiences
Review full setups or handgun and holster combinations, with time and context filters, ratings and recorded comfort.
Follow a change
Keep a baseline when trying a setup variation and see which items or carry details differ.
Review the evidence
What to try next points back to your entries and owned equipment. Early observations stay distinct from repeated patterns.
11Reports
Your records.
Ready to review.
Turn your journal into a focused report. Choose dates and filters, review what is included, then export spreadsheet data or use the print flow to save a PDF.
Seven ways to look back
Monthly overview, carry journal, setup comparisons, range sessions, failures, maintenance and Vault inventory.
Choose the detail
Include notes, check-in photos and range locations where available. Reports use your personal records.
Exports with a purpose
PDF and CSV are for reviewing your records. The separate JSON backup can restore your complete journal.
12Progress & rewards
Small reflections.
A habit worth keeping.
See the history you are building at your own pace. Streaks, weekly completion and milestone badges recognize the time you put into keeping useful records.
Flexible progress
No-carry days pause your streak, and occasional grace allows room for real life. All journal features remain available.
Milestones & weekly recaps
Earn nine original badges and review check-ins, comfort, trips, rounds and care records in a weekly recap.
Make it yours
Choose an earned profile badge and unlock app colors and recap styles. Preview a badge card without your journal details.

Your journal.
On your terms.
Set the carry-day schedule that suits your life, choose light or dark appearance and keep a restorable copy of your records.
A day that fits your schedule
Change when a new carry day begins, including a later restart for night shifts. Add morning and evening reminders to your calendar.
Your phone’s journal
The current Android preview keeps entries on your phone. Export a full JSON backup with Vault items, range trips, failures, maintenance, daily changes and photos.
Backup & restore
Restoring replaces the journal on that phone. Export regularly before clearing app storage, uninstalling or moving to another device.
Android and the web journal are separate. The current Android preview does not automatically sync your records to the web app.
